It's been hanging around 27 C over the last couple days and the forecast says it will be getting warmer. Yesterday morning I saw this bushfire smoke cloud right when we began working on the house. For 6 hours it was a very thick cloud and smaller fires were popping up near the big fire, closer to us. Thankfully, around the time of sunset, the fire was contained and no more smoke could be seen. Margs, Daff, and I made a pilgrimage to the second story balcony in the night to check out the lights around us. No fire could be seen... just oil rig platforms, fishing boats, so many shooting stars and an amazing Milky Way dotted with galaxies and nebula.
