This week we got the walking blood bank in operation with several volunteers. As the Blood Master I'm the guy that gathers all the blood from donors. Yesterday I drew 9 vials... and I woke up at midnight with dreams of needles. Below, the lab techs are checking blood types and seeing if the 4 donor types are compatable for cross-matching.
We got a little mixed up on the anti-D reagent reading and had to consult the handy dandy mircroscope to investigate the status of hemolysis.
