This frisby golf course was designed by the surveyors and GIS specialists at Palmer. For the last two years I've been involved in map making for academic sources and love to play with maps. This map is just one example of what geographers do for recreation. One could also upload the base map into GIS software, add base heights and colour, and make it a 3D map... that would be my next objective if I were the maker of this map. Furthemore you could add funny images at each of the 18 holes and point locations (i.e. buildings, boat, ec.) for more animation.
