Sometimes when I drove out to the ice airfield there would be a Kiwi kite ice-skiing/surfing along the road, but everytime I saw them I forgot my camera. Karl you rock. I so want to do this. I've also thought of using a parachute kite and surfboard, the bigger and higher the kite, the faster you go. Imagine that... surfing all the way from Ross Island to the mainland on ice (30 miles), and with some of the wind gusts we get you'd be sure to get some big time air. Skip-hop da ice by chute n' board, totally wicked.
