Vessels New ETA: January 30

The 'American Tern' resupply cargo ship for McMurdo is now expected to arrive around January 29-30. Last night the tanker came into the bay, as seen below. Folks here geared up thinking that she would dock in the late afternoon but the captain called the linemen and said to hold off, the crew had been up for 36 hours straight and need some rest before docking.


The cargo transport trucks have been lined up and are ready to unload the large vessel when she arrives.
