This is what I'll be missing this year, but there are many other seasons to come. Once on the Ice, always on the Ice. I'm hoping to get hired as an Enivronmental Technician for next summer season, and if not I will try to get to Palmer and cook. Raytheon's contract ends at the end of this year and there are many bidders in line. The future hospitality of McMurdo, South Pole, and Palmer remains unknown.
